So today i will give you a step by step guide on how do you create Custom Facebook Pages.


I will be giving you a basic on how to add HTML to a Facebook page.


So the guide will be as follow:

1. Getting to create your Facebook Page.
2. Making an HTML Tab / Box On your Facebook Page


1. Getting To Create Your Facebook Page


So if you came this far you either have an existing Facebook page that you wold like to customize or you would like to get the step by step Guide on this. 
Create Your Facebook Page Here you wil find the first step in your whole process of creating your Facebook Page. To make sure you are Following the same way i am you should be on this page after clicking on the link.

From here you get the options to create a Facebook page of your choice. 

a. "Local business"

b. "Brand, product, or Organization"

c. "Artist, band, or public figure"

Give your page a name. 

Make your selection, make sure you are the official representative person.

So just before you continue your screen will be looking like this ?

From here you will click on  " Create Official Page "

And there you go ! Your Page will be created and it will look like a complete empty page that you have landed on. 

From here you can follow the information and steps given by Facebook on what to do next.


2. Making an HTML Tab / Box On your Facebook Page


Now your planning starts. You need to think what do you want your HTML page to look like. and what is going to go where. You can use any of the Webdesign Platforms to do this. ( just to get your code right. ) I will be using Dreamweaver CS4 to design my page.  


So after Uploading your images to your Facebook page you can now define them in your code to display them in your Page that you are going to create. Its easy. On the image that you uploaded you right click and say "view image " in order for you to get the full URL of the image so that you can add it to your source. 


So i got my image source http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs524.ash1/30835_125458890820186_125356770830398_164294_507977_n.jpg that i want to use as a header. 


Now im going to build my page. and thats the easy part. make sure you use 100% HTML code. you dont need to add or tags to your code for you are not creating a new file. 


So after making your your page and code. The little trick comes in. :) 


Got to your main view of your page and click on edit. You will then sit with this screen infront of you. 

At the bottom of this edit page you will see "More Applications " 

Click on browse more. 

And in the top left search Bar you are going to search for FBML. That is the application that is used to add HTML to your Facebook Pages. 

If you click on the link it will take you to the FBML Facebook page where you can like the page or just add it to your Facebook. 

On the left again you can click to add this to your page.

Now when you navigate back to your Facebook page and go to your edit view you will find that the FBML application is in there. 

And all you do here is add the code that you made in for your page into the Edit section. You can also make it a "Tab" on your Facebook or just a "Box" 

That is up to you. 

Your final Product should look like this. 

And you have created yourself a Facebook page with HTML on it :) this can be made your landing page for new visitors to look at.
